James Riddell is the Area Manager for Eastern Canada and the I-90 Corridor in the United States for SiteOne Landscape Supply. In the nearly 10 years that James has occupied this position, James has been required to deftly manage inventory and the supply chain for 13 stores and thousands of customer partners throughout his territory. James’ inventory management throughout his area spans several lines of business, from hardscape to irrigation, lighting and agronomics. Each of these lines of business have very different supply chain issues and stocking requirements of which James has the knowledge and acumen to manage effectively. James’ ability to maintain contact with his vendor partner’s and understanding of the constraints placed upon him by his vendor partners due to recent Covid-19 pandemic allow James to speak on his perspective on the supply side of supply chain. James’ openness and communication skills with his customer partners regarding demand planning, inventory and the supply chain allow him further understanding when speaking on managing the demand side of the supply chain.
